Canaves Oia, Luxury Resorts, in Santorini, Greece, listed among the best hotels in the world, for the season of 2023 is looking for associates who are willing to learn and build up a successful career in hospitality.
Canaves Oia owns and manages four luxury properties, the contemporary, boutique Canaves Oia Boutique Hotel, the elegant and luxurious Canaves Oia Suites & Spa, its elite 8 suites only property Sunday Suites, and its brand-new resort, Canaves Oia Epitome.
All properties are located in the cosmopolitan village of Oia, in the northern part of Santorini Island, and are proud members of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World.
Scope of the role:
The Revenue Manager will identify room revenue opportunities and optimize revenue and distribution. Daily, weekly and monthly reporting is essential at this role. The selected candidate will report to the company’s General Manager and Managing Director. Revenue Manager will work closely and on a daily basis with the Reservations Manager and Director of Sales in order to ensure the smooth operation of the reservations department and maximize revenue.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversee revenue management and distribution strategy of the properties.
- Manage day-to-day yield & inventory management.
- Daily pick-up analysis, strategy adjustments, and reporting.
- Perform competitive benchmark studies and follow market trends.
- Create and develop pricing strategies in conjunction with the individuality of each hotel.
- Provide a weekly dynamic forecast of expected results, variances, and budget comparisons.
- Responsible for assessing, analyzing, and pricing group business strategies
- Analyze overall monthly hotel performance and provide a summary report with recommendations to improve long-term strategies to the manager/owner.
- Ensure all related systems are configured correctly, validated, and working to full capacity
- Ensure website booking and OTA process is maintained up-to-date and functional.
- Evaluate the performance of distribution partners and contracted rates (OTA, FIT, tour operator, corporate, consortia, crew, groups, etc.).
- Prepare an outline for and support the annual revenue budget process.
Job requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality (A postgraduate diploma in Hospitality Industry is considered a plus.)
- 2 years minimum experience as a Revenue or Reservations Manager in a luxury resort or a 5-star boutique hotel in Greece or abroad
- Excellent command of both English and Greek language is essential, knowledge of other languages will be considered a plus.
- Very good knowledge of hotel management software (PMS Opera) is preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of channel management and IBEs is essential (Primal Res, Synxis, WebHotelier)
- Excellent MS Office, email writing, and internet skills are required.
- Strong leadership abilities, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills
