Position requirements

• Minimum experience of 2 years in 5-star hotels or restaurants in similar positions required
• Have the 3rd Level of WSET
• Have the HESTIA Advanced Certificate, The World of Greek Wine will be considered an advantage
• Previous experience in fine dining restaurants will be considered an asset
• Extensive knowledge of spirits will be considered an asset
• Extensive knowledge and certification in wine required.
• Previous experience with POS systems, Micros preferred.

Skills & Abilities

• Proven experience as a Sommelier
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language used in the workplace.
• Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
• Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Efficient and focused
• Positive mindset

Education

• Graduates Bachelor’s degree and/or diploma in hotel or another related field
• Computer Knowledge and experience in MS office programs
• Advanced in English; multilingual is strongly preferred
• Must possess basic computational ability.
• Must possess basic computer skills
